Do I Need A Copywriter?
Do you wonder if you need to hire a copywriter?
Start by asking yourself these few questions:
Do I know how to write persuasive writing?
Do I know what SEO is?
Do I even like writing?
Do I have the time to do all this research, and extra stuff to get my business noticed?
Do I like doing research, and extra stuff?
Do I want to keep track of the emails I send to promote myself?
Do I want to write persuasive emails?
Can I come up with blogs 2 to 3 times a week?
Do I want to keep track of the flow of my website?
There are more questions you can ask yourself, but those are the most important. If you answered no to any of them, you need a copywriter.
There are many benefits to hiring a copywriter. Let’s go deeper into this topic. You don't wanna say yup to something without getting all the details.
Or are you that kind of wild? Which is perfect too. But for the people who don't live by the seams of their pants here, we go.
I’ve said in a blog before this one “what’s a copywriter” that you can definitely be a copywriter. If copywriting seems like your thing I'll leave a link at the bottom. These links take you to where I learned all my information on becoming a copywriter.
For the ones who aren't sure or becoming a copywriter doesn’t seem like their thing, let's get digging.
The toughest thing for people to do is ask for help. Which is crazy because everyone needs help. You can run a business by yourself, but that usually causes the business to run you.
I know a lot of people start their own businesses for many reasons. The most frequent ones I know of are more free time for themselves or their family and life in general.
That can only happen if you are doing it with others. Because then your time is going to your services or making the product.
If you love being a busy bee then adding promoting, and doing bomb copywriting isn’t too big of a problem.
Big corporations know if you want passive income, and time then you need to get another guy to do the work for you.
They have been doing it forever now. Let's take Walmart as an example. I was a supervisor training to be a coach.
If you don't know Walmart lingo all you gotta know is coaches get paid salaried, and supervisors don’t.
My coach told me that I was too busy doing other work to do my job. That I needed to learn to delegate the work.
What I got from that was I was overloading my plate with things I knew needed to get done. When I should have been handing off work to others so I could do what I needed to.
The point is the big guys have marketers and advertisers. They are doing something right. They also have a team to make money for them.
We, copywriters, aren't about the money though. We are about what matters which is getting a good honest product the recognition it deserves.
You might be thinking I don't have the money for a copywriter.
It’s understandable that we all don't have money like Walmart.
Even though some of us don't have the money that Walmart has there are still ways to get there.
When starting out a lot of people are still doing another job. That's either full-time or part-time so they still have an income while they are getting on their feet.
I do know some copywriters do payment plans as well which is super helpful.
The thing is copywriters help figure out how to get you noticed the way you want to be. You don't have to take their advice. Though it’s our whole job to figure out how we are going to bring your business to those who need you.
Everyone needs help. Even if you don’t, it’s a nice feeling. We are all majestic beings capable of anything. But asking for help has definitely been hard for us to do for a long time.
Some think it makes them weak and some don't trust the other person to handle it the way they like. That's why communication is key.
When you are looking for a copywriter you get a free consultation usually. This is where you guys can see if you are a good fit, so we can deliver the service you need, and want.
Trusting someone who believes in the same thing you do to help you manifest that belief. Is a beautiful feeling.
Copywriting isn't sleazy or two-faced. We are honest people that believe in what your business is doing to help the world. We want that to be recognized.
I know I used Walmart as an example, but that's cause they do use copywriting and advertising. It’s about money usually with companies like that. As copywriters, we tend to care about the customers and their clients.
When I say that big corporations are doing these things it’s not to scare you. I don't want you thinking that you aren’t gonna make it if you don't do what they do.
It’s obvious they have some tactics that work. let's use them, but in a way that works for you. If you are looking to make money then that's understandable. The world unfortunately spins around it.
If you are asking yourself if you need a copywriter then do.
A copywriter can help you with your business goals. We do this by believing in your business and finding people who are going to believe in it as well and support it.
Again you can be a copywriter, and do it yourself. Anyone can, but if you don’t want to. It’s not where your heart is at? Your heart is the hands-on work you do or having time to do other things? Then it's best to get someone to help promote you in an honest way.
You want your company to be something that makes people feel good about the buy they made.
Your business has people who need/ want it and didn't know what it was that they needed in their life. A copywriter finds those people for you with words and hard work.
If after all that, you are still thinking I can do that. Right now if it’s doable for you, and you still get to have the lifestyle you want. Then you don't need a copywriter.
Copywriters are to help your business thrive or keep thriving. If you feel that you are doing a pretty awesome job then I believe in you. You got this.
Here are the links to where I learned to be a copywriter. Have a wonderful day, and shine like the light you are.
